Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Technical Lead experienced in Conveyance to lead planning, design and delivery of urban water infrastructure across New England for municipal clients.

You will manage design teams, mentor staff, drive business development, coordinate multi-discipline engineering tasks, oversee scope, budget and schedule, and guide permitting and client communications to deliver reliable conveyance systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering in environmental, civil engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in a consulting environment, focused on conveyance and water infrastructure design.
• Licensure: PE or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
• Travel to other offices and project sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team of professionals and technicians.
• Mentor staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Develop proposals and manage business development activities.
• Manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Perform complex engineering design tasks across multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate QA/QC and assist with permitting processes.
