Job summary

The position requires a Professional Engineer license, 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater, and expertise across treatment, reuse, transmission, and pump stations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer.
• 15+ years of professional experience (exclusive of any advanced degree).
• Experience delivering water and wastewater treatment, reuse, wastewater collection systems, water transmission/distribution, pipeline rehabilitation, and/or pump station projects.
• Ability to deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
• Ability to evaluate progress of staff and results obtained, and recommend major changes to achieve overall objectives.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering work on municipal water and wastewater projects of medium to large size.
• Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients and manage client maintenance.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects, coordinating with multiple clients.
• Maintain extensive contacts with engineers and officials in other organizations.
• Direct and coordinate assignments with technical independence.
• Participate in proposals, interviews, and contract negotiations with clients.
• Support firm’s relationships with client management personnel.
• Identify and direct sub-consultants performing services on projects.
