Job summary

Donohoe Construction Company is seeking a Lead Watch Engineer in Washington, D.C. This position requires a working supervisor to oversee operations, monitoring, and maintenance of the JFRC boiler plant and chiller plant on a 24/7 basis. Responsibilities include conducting regular inspections and responding to emergency situations.

The ideal candidate must have at least seven years of experience in high-pressure steam plants and a 3rd class District of Columbia Steam Engineer's license. Competitive salary of $52.66 per hour offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years experience in a high-pressure steam plant.
• Five years experience working with centrifugal chillers of 750 tons or greater.
• Formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and operate boiler and chiller plants as a working supervisor.
• Conduct scheduled tours and quality control inspections.
• Respond to emergency calls and take corrective action during after-hours shifts.
