Job summary

Amgen is hiring a SR Maintenance Technician I for the night shift at our Holly Springs, NC facility. You will provide technical expertise to support plant start-up, commissioning, qualification, and daily operations in manufacturing, labs, utilities.

You will help implement GMP-compliant maintenance programs, write SOPs, create and review work orders, and participate in on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years maintenance experience.
• Associate degree plus 6 months maintenance experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years in mechanical maintenance.
• Preferred: 3+ years pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems experience.
• Experience in a cGMP regulated environment.
• Experience executing and documenting maintenance work orders in a CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for start-up and daily plant operations.
• Support GMP maintenance programs and safety requirements.
• Develop and document maintenance procedures and work orders.
• Review and approve maintenance reports and records.
• Participate in on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education

High school/GED + 2 years maintenance experience

Associate’s + 6 months maintenance experience
