Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Wastewater Engineer to join our Resilience Water team in Syracuse, NY. You will lead complex wastewater design projects for municipal and industrial clients across New York and North America, applying innovative, sustainable treatment solutions.

You will collaborate with a team of industry experts, contribute to process evaluations, technology selection, optimization studies, and startup support, and have opportunities to grow into leadership roles within Arcadis’

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in planning, design, and delivery of wastewater projects.
• Masters degree and 10 years preferred; NY PE license preferred or reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design tasks and coordinate multi-disciplinary deliverables.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination.
• Prepare calculations, reports, specs, and design documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Engage in client meetings, workshops, and proposals.
• Travel up to 25% for site visits and project delivery.
