Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Wastewater Process Project Engineer to join our Resilience Water Team in Orlando, Florida. The role leads design efforts, mentors engineers, and helps grow our Florida water practice on regional and national projects.

Requirements include 8+ years in water/wastewater process mechanical design and a Florida PE license (or reciprocity within 6 months). The position supports a flexible hybrid work culture balancing remote and in-office work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of water/wastewater process mechanical design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
• Florida PE license or reciprocity within 6 months.
• Strong written and oral communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical expertise to develop design team capabilities.
• Lead wastewater treatment/process and mechanical design projects from planning through construction documents.
• Prepare engineering calculations and use modeling tools (BioWin) as needed.
• Plan capacity evaluations and master/facility plans for wastewater systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with national practice leadership.
