Job summary

Resource Renew, the WLSSD brand, seeks a full-time Senior Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator in Duluth, MN. You will monitor, operate and control daily plant and collection system activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety while optimizing performance.

You will collaborate with licensed operators and trades professionals, maintain SOPs, review permit requirements, and contribute to environmental stewardship for the district’s community.

Qualifications

• Requires MPCA Class B Wastewater Operator Certificate.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment and collection systems daily.
• Supervise SCADA and process control to meet permit limits and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with staff during emergencies and document incidents.
• Maintain operational records and SOPs for plant and processes.
