Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• State Class B Wastewater License highly preferred, combination of experience and lower license could be considered.
• Additional trade specific courses preferred.
• Three years in operation of activated sludge plants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate wastewater treatment plant and collection system to comply with state and federal regulations.
• Perform maintenance and calibration of monitoring equipment and treatment equipment.
• Record data, logs and regulatory reports; monitor chemical feed rates as required.
• Assist with water collection system and water/sewer main and service repairs as needed.
• Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed; participate in on-call assignments.
