American Water Works Association in Milton, Delaware is seeking a Manager of Wastewater Maintenance to plan, direct, and oversee the maintenance and repair of wastewater facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This role manages staff, budgets, preventive maintenance programs, and compliance with regulations to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The position serves as a technical resource for wastewater systems and collaborates with internal departments, contractors, consultants, and regulatory

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 yrs supervisory experience in operations and maintenance.
• Minimum of 10 years in wastewater facility maintenance, construction, rehabilitation, or related utility operations.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, collection systems, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local wastewater regulations.

Mansioni

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily activities of Wastewater Maintenance staff.
• Supervise, coach, and develop employees; provide safety training.
• Establish and maintain maintenance programs and records for facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Develop and manage the wastewater maintenance budget.
