Job summary

GMB is seeking two mid-to-senior Wastewater Engineers to lead design, permitting, and client management for complex facilities in Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia’s Eastern Shore. The role blends collaboration in our Salisbury office with a flexible hybrid/remote schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years’ civil/environmental experience, an active MD P.E. or reciprocity, and proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools such as KY Pipes, SewerCAD, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years progressive experience specializing in civil/environmental engineering with a municipal wastewater focus.
• ABET-accredited BS in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer license in MD or ability to obtain MD reciprocity within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design, permitting, and client management for WWTPs, pumping stations, and collection systems.
• Navigate regulatory approvals with MDE, DNREC, VA DEQ, EPA and other agencies.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets; mentor EITs and CAD designers.
