Job summary

City of Tuscaloosa seeks a qualified supervisor to oversee daily operation and maintenance of the wastewater collection system, including QA/QC, safety, scheduling, and reporting. You will lead field crews, coordinate CMOM/FOG and ROW maintenance, use Lucity and ArcMap for data and reports, and collaborate with engineers, regulatory staff, and city officials.

Strong organizational and communication skills are required, along with an associate degree and several years of civil operations

Qualifications

• Overseas daily operation and maintenance of wastewater collection system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies and PPE are followed.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned staff and provide performance feedback.
• Coordinate daily work activities and develop crew schedules.
• Provide technical expertise and assist with complex problems.
• Oversee CMOM/FOG and ROW maintenance programs.
• Use Lucity and GIS to document data and generate reports.
• Respond to call outs and maintain records and forms.
