Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee venue distribution and warehouse operations, including inventory, receiving, purchasing, lay-ins, and equipment maintenance, with hands-on event oversight. The role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years of foodservice/hospitality warehouse experience, and at least 1 year of supervising staff.

Forklift certification is a plus; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience supervising warehouse staff is preferred.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for product purchasing/ordering, receiving, and distribution control for the venue.
• Ensure procedures for tracking purchase orders, requisitions, receiving dockets, and inventory are maintained; report deviations to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
• Assist with Premium Services or Concessions event operations as directed by management.
• Provide supervision to part-time warehouse staff to ensure all lay-ins and requisitions are completed.
• Oversee the purchase order system for all orders, verify specifications, and supervise labeling, dating, and stocking of supplies.
• Ensure stocking levels are met, rotate stock, and maintain product integrity.
• Ensure proper transfer process between locations with follow-up documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance for concession and utility equipment and ensure equipment is in location.
• Walkthrough the commissary and storage areas after the day for cleanliness.
• Oversee daily operations as opening or closing manager on duty.
