Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all shipping-related activities, including receiving raw materials and coordinating inventory across locations. The role ensures proper labeling, data entry, and adherence to our Quality Management System.

Training of the West shipping team and ongoing process improvements are key responsibilities. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in shipping or inventory within manufacturing, strong organizational and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 4+ years shipping or inventory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal errors.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Ability to lead and build a cohesive team and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prepare all outgoing shipments, including banding and wrapping pallets.
• Ensure all finished product is labeled correctly and processed accordingly.
• Move materials through warehouse and production areas.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation and data entry.
• Receive and stock incoming shipments; unload and inspect.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform weekly/monthly counts.
• Coordinate with customer service and sales on orders, overages and shipping info.
• Establish and maintain shipping supplies and department organization.
• Train West shipping department and assist cross-areas as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and flag below-minimum stock; coordinate with purchasing.
• Perform inventory transfers between facilities and resolve discrepancies.
• Drive safety, quality, and process-improvement initiatives; support plant efficiency.
