Job summary

Nordstrom in Cedar Rapids seeks a Senior Operations Manager to drive day-to-day warehouse efficiency, safety, and cost control. You will lead a team of about 7 managers across multiple shifts and sectors, shaping operations to meet strategic goals.

You’ll mentor leaders, manage budgets, and own KPI dashboards including 4DX. Strong data analysis and communication skills are essential to elevate performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of warehouse experience in a managerial role
• Well-developed time management and prioritization skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and grow leadership competencies in direct reports
• Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs
• Experience managing projects, programs and initiatives within a facility
• Ability to analyze data and act on improvement opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support the business strategy and drive safety, quality and performance while increasing efficiency and scale
• Lead and develop a team of about 7 managers across multiple shifts and departments
• Recruit, onboard and train leaders
• Demonstrate sound judgment and own decision impact
• Promote equity across the network and organization
• Meet warehouse financial targets by budgeting, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and taking corrective actions
• Drive KPI metrics, 4DX and facility performance scorecards
• Partner with on-site and virtual teams to test, pilot and implement solutions
