Job summary

Baker Hughes in Louisiana, Rayne, is seeking a Warehouse IV to support receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials while ensuring safety and accuracy. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of warehouse, logistics, inventory, or material handling experience.
• Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Basic PC skills and experience with warehouse transactions and inventory systems.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and material handling activities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and inventory-related tasks.
• Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Regularly lift up to 20 pounds and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials in accordance with operational requirements.
• Loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight safely and efficiently.
• Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport products and materials.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting inventory control activities.
• Reading and interpreting work instructions, correspondence, shipping documents, and operational procedures.
• Preparing materials for shipment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Performing routine warehouse transactions using inventory management systems and basic PC applications.
• Supporting cycle counts, inventory audits, and material reconciliation activities.
• Ensuring warehouse areas are organized, clean, and maintained in accordance with safety requirements.
• Identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, and safety concerns.
• Collaborating with internal teams to support operational and customer requirements.
• Following Baker Hughes HSE policies, quality standards, and operational procedures at all times.
