Job summary

Precor, Incorporated in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Sr. Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, staging orders, loading and unloading, and maintaining shipping accuracy.

The role requires operating a forklift or reach truck, using RF scanners and SAP, and collaborating across teams to keep inventory moving. You will assist with onboarding and cross-training, coordinate with Shipping, Inventory Control, Production and Customer Service, and participate in safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of forklift or reach truck experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of SAP and/or similar warehouse management systems.
• Understanding of inventory flow and warehouse material-handling processes.
• Experience with cycle counting, shipping, and receiving.
• Ability to use RF scanners and computer-based inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and safety commitment.
• Effective communication and teamwork across warehouse and production teams.
• Ability to train and cross-train team members.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime when needed.
• Exposure to a noisy environment.
• Safety gear such as steel-toed shoes and safety glasses provided by Precor.

Responsibilities

• Order staging and shipment preparation: pull and stage orders, follow FIFO, prepare finished goods for shipment.
• Shipping and receiving: load/unload trailers, verify shipments, ensure accurate handling.
• Inventory accuracy: use RF scanners and SAP to track inventory movements and verify orders.
• Equipment operation and safety: operate forklifts/reach trucks and follow safety policies.
• Warehouse organization: maintain a clean, organized area and report needs.
• Cross-functional communication: coordinate with Inventory Control, Production, Customer Service, Sales and carriers.
