Job summary

The Everest Search Group client seeks an Operations Manager to drive facility performance, lead teams, and ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely shipping. You will direct pre-shift briefings, staffing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives across a large warehouse.

The role requires 7+ years of supervisory experience in warehousing, strong knowledge of WMS and regulatory requirements, and the ability to manage P&L and budgeting with cross-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Willingness to become certified in OSHA/DOT/HAZMAT/FDA regulations as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with or desire to learn performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma tools.

Responsibilities

• Directs and leads exempt and non-exempt associates to meet facility performance targets.
• Develops and manages a facility strategy for staffing, workflow and resource allocation.
• Plans long-term labor requirements based on sales forecasts and historical data.
• Analyzes workload against labor hours and equipment to optimize productivity.
• Oversees 200,000–500,000 sq ft facilities and up to 100 employees during non-peak times.
• Drives safety, quality, cost and delivery improvements and expands warehouse capabilities.
