Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Warehouse Operations Manager to supervise, coach and train warehouse staff, oversee equipment, manage inventory, and drive Lean initiatives across a multichannel distribution center to meet KPI targets.

This role requires 5 years of experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and scanners, willingness to work overtime, and preferred bilingual English/Spanish with familiarity in AS9100/ISO environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime, weekends.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel.
• Tolerance of hot or cold warehouse environments.
• Pre-employment drug test may be required after a conditional offer.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field (preferred).
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment (preferred).
• Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience (preferred).
• Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) (preferred).
• Solid problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, coach and train warehouse associates.
• Implement performance improvement strategies when needed.
• Oversee equipment and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Handle inventory control processes.
• Drive quality operations through Lean methodologies.
• Create and monitor KPIs against targets.
• Lead the organization to meet or exceed KPIs.
• Ensure picking and putaway activities meet operational needs.
• Lead operations supporting value-added service and outbound packing to meet or exceed lead-time requirements.
• Initiate and facilitate projects improving safety, quality, delivery, cost and employee morale.
• Oversee daily operations supporting national returns processing and outbound order preparation for a multichannel distribution center.
