Job summary

Turbine Air Systems, Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking a Sr. Warehouse Associate to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure accurate processing of incoming orders.

You will direct other warehouse staff, prioritize workload, and maintain training records while enforcing safety standards. The role requires hands-on material handling, forklift operation, cycle counting, and close coordination with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related factory experience and/or training.
• Good command of English (written and verbal).
• Computer knowledge with warehouse ERP systems, intermediate to advanced MS Office software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct other warehouse associates including contractors in day-to-day responsibilities.
• Prioritize workload within the warehouse.
• Maintain training records for all associates.
• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area.
• Assist in shipping and receiving, unload trucks with forklift or crane, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders.
• Accurately stock material physically and systematically into proper warehouse bin locations.
• Read and accurately transact customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and visitors.
• Document Purchase Orders or Work Orders, Part Numbers, and Projects on all incoming/outgoing items.
• Communicates with cross functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives.
• Monitors and report team KPI’s to upper management.
