Job summary

US0670 Edward Don in Illinois is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily activities including receiving, putaway, picking, loading and shipping while ensuring safety, productivity and service to customers, suppliers and distributors. This position requires 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a redistribution center; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

It operates Sunday through Thursday starting at 6pm, with up to 25% travel and compensation in the 66,000–99,000 USD per year

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 3-5 years equivalent education/work experience in a distribution center.
• 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience with a re-distribution/distribution center.
• Experience with handheld radio frequency (RF) unit; voice recognition is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor the daily activities and performance of warehouse workers to assure compliance of standard procedures, quality, and safety.
• Assure quality performance through proper staffing, effective communication, and training.
• Manage employee performance through motivation, delegation, development, mentoring and resolving conflict.
• Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and following company policy.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to foster engagement and communicate policies and procedures.
• Participate in staff selection and evaluations; support safety and productivity goals.
• Continue to review procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
