Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking an Analyst, Inventory Control in Chicago to plan and manage supply chain resources and demand processes, ensuring execution of finished goods and timely disposition.

You will monitor inventory accuracy, collaborate with Quality, Logistics and distribution, and lead process improvements for traceability. Travel up to 25% is required.

Bachelor’s degree and SAP/WMS experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong analytical and communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in distribution or logistics.
• Experience with SAP or WMS systems.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Able to work weekends/evenings and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and ensure execution of all finished goods.
• Quality hold and release orders outside plant control.
• Collaborate with Plant, BU Quality, and distribution for inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor and report on held inventory; verify counts daily or monthly.
• Analyze inventory data to ensure timely dispositions.
• Lead best-practice improvements affecting traceability.
• Support recalls and rework coordination.
• Provide training to BU Quality resources on traceability procedures.
• Maintain electronic directories of current SC contact information for all distribution sites.
• Become SME in traceability data, tools, and procedures; admin of traceability software.
• Monitor inventory accuracy between WMS and systems; SAP IDocs processing.
• Be on-call 24/7 every 5 weeks for 1 week.
