Job summary

Firstunion, headquartered in New York, is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee U.S.-based 3PL partners and drive efficient warehouse operations.

In this role you will audit inventory, optimize service levels, and coordinate with global warehouses to standardize processes. Strong communication, 2+ years of WM experience, and ERP/WMS familiarity are required.

This position offers growth and collaboration with finance and headquarters to meet budget and performance targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in logistics or related field.
  • Strong English proficiency to coordinate globally.
  • 2+ years of warehouse management experience; FMCG or e-commerce background preferred.
  • Proven experience managing 3PL providers; self-operated warehouse experience highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-cultural adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage U.S.-based 3PL partners to ensure operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits, inventory reconciliation, and performance evaluations for third-party vendors.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to optimize service levels and cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan and prepare for future self-operated warehousing in the U.S., including process design and infrastructure development.
  • Partner with finance on monthly reconciliation, variance analysis, and discrepancy resolution; ensure accurate reporting and budget adherence.
  • Coordinate with global warehouses (e.g., Indonesia, UK, Russia) to standardize processes and enhance cross-regional collaboration.
  • Serve as liaison between local teams, vendors, and headquarters to align operational objectives.
  • Utilize ERP/WMS systems to streamline inventory management, order fulfillment, and reporting.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
