Nichiha is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to optimize space, oversee receiving, storage, picking and shipping, and lead a strong team. The role focuses on safety, quality, and continuous improvement to boost efficiency and on-time deliveries.

  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of goods. Ensure accuracy of inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.

  • Vendor Relations: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely receipt of goods and resolve any issues related to shipments or deliveries. Negotiate favorable terms and pricing when necessary.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as order fulfillment rates, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase overall efficiency within the warehouse. Solicit feedback from team members and implement best practices accordingly.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory levels, and performance metrics. Generate regular reports for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a track record of success in optimizing operations and leading teams.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members at all levels.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Forklift certification and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles are a plus.
