Job summary

CPS Inc. in the northwest suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Senior Manager, Warehouse & Logistics to lead multiple facilities. You will oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping while driving inbound/outbound logistics, routing, and distribution efficiency.

The role partners with Sales and Purchasing to ensure product availability and exceptional service. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in warehouse operations, 5+ years of leadership in food manufacturing, and ERP/MRP

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Warehouse/Distribution Operations or related field required.
Minimum 5 years of warehouse leadership experience in food manufacturing.
Experience in a food manufacturing environment and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

Lead warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, staging, inventory control and shipping.
Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, routing, truck utilization and distribution efficiency.
Partner with Sales and Purchasing to ensure product availability and customer service.
Drive customer fill rates and maintain accurate inventory, lot codes, and ERP transactions.
Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory to minimize write-offs.
Develop and monitor KPIs for warehouse accuracy, capacity, and transportation utilization.
Maintain warehouse safety, equipment, and standard operating procedures.
