Ladders in San Francisco is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Capability Manager to shape capabilities supporting growth, expansion and reliable execution. You will partner with internal teams to define requirements, evaluate tools, and implement scalable processes for efficiency and compliance.

The role emphasizes vendor management, risk mitigation, and performance reporting to strengthen day-to-day operations. Hybrid work model in the SF Bay Area is offered.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Proven experience managing third-party logistics providers and carrier contracts.
• Knowledge of domestic freight types and related documentation.
• Familiarity with safety regulations for shipping IT equipment.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to build operational processes from the ground up.
• Willingness to travel to warehouse and data center sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for new warehouse and logistics capabilities in partnership with internal teams.
• Manage the selection and implementation of warehousing and logistics tools.
• Support geographic expansion with the appropriate tools and processes.
• Conduct RFPs and drive tool selection in alignment with business needs.
• Ensure vendor tools are integrated and compliant with internal architecture.
• Test and adopt new processes and tools while managing risks effectively.
• Develop operational metrics reports to drive continuous improvement.
