Job summary

BIC World is hiring a Warehouse Lead in Charlotte, NC to oversee receiving and put-away operations on the second shift, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. You will monitor receipts, manage a team of warehouse staff, and ensure accurate inventory through WM system and ASN processing.

Ideal candidates have forklift certification, 1+ year in warehouse/logistics, familiarity with WM/AS400 and JDE, and strong communication and teamwork skills to drive safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification and experience operating reach trucks.
• At least 1 year warehouse/logistics experience, preferably in receiving operations.
• Certified in Hazardous Material handling.
• Familiarity with WM/AS400 and JDE; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all receipts and locations.
• Submit reports in a timely manner.
• Research receiving/stocking errors and trends; run space/loc reports.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to prioritize work.
• Provide direction to team during absence of Inventory Technician.
• Ensure adherence to receiving and put-away SOPs.
• Direct warehouse drivers to meet receiving and put-away priorities.
• Verify case quantities against delivery receipts and document discrepancies.
• Document inbound receipts, research ASN discrepancies, and oversee carrier scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.
