Job summary

Winebow in Benicia, CA, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead receipt and distribution of products, develop facility processes, and mentor distribution center staff. The role involves scheduling inbound/outbound goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in business or logistics and 5+ years of warehouse leadership, with strong Excel/Word, WMS, and forklift skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• High School diploma with at least five years in distribution operations.
• Minimum five years' experience supervising warehouse and transportation teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF scanners.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (sit-down/stand-up forklifts, stock-pickers, electric pallet jacks) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in receipt and distribution of the company's products.
• Develops site specific facility processes and metrics to enhance the current operating system.
• Develops and mentors transportation and distribution center personnel and achieve performance objectives.
• Schedule inbound and outbound product and ensure accurate putaway.
• Ensures accurate placement of inbound product to proper pick/stock locations.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance and provide forklift training.
• Coordinate HR issues with HR Generalist as needed.
