Job summary

Performix seeks a senior engineer to design and architect a new warehouse setup and workflow. The role involves planning the inner layout of a very large facility and coordinating the transformation to maximize space and efficiency.

You will lead a small team, set up 1000+ product lines and 5000+ part numbers, and apply lean principles to improve process flow and ergonomics. Proficiency in CAD, SAP S4 Hana, and database tools is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Senior-level warehouse design/optimization experience.
Proficient in CAD and drafting software.
Proficient SAP S4 Hana.
Knowledge of database systems (SQL, Tableau) a plus.
Preferred knowledge in PIT and Warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

Design and plan the inner layout of the warehouse transformation.
Coordinate setup and optimization of new warehouse design.
Ensure optimized functioning of the warehouse and maximize space utilization.
Develop warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and handling systems.
Adopt lean concepts to streamline processes and improve flow.
Organize and manage warehousing operations per SPS principles.
Measure and analyze warehousing performance (cost and service) and implement corrective actions.
Manage projects to design and optimize warehousing processes.
Set up new product lines including 1000+ products and 5000+ part numbers.
Join a 3–4 person team to layout the warehouse and position lines/parts efficiently.
Consider ergonomics and efficiency in design.
