Job summary

EarthScope Consortium seeks a Warehouse Manager II to lead operations at the Socorro, NM facility, with a planned move to Albuquerque later. You will oversee shipping, inventory, customs compliance, and logistics, ensuring efficient and compliant warehouse performance for EarthScope programs.

The role requires ten years in warehouse and trade logistics, plus supervisory experience, and offers comprehensive benefits and a path to ensure government property accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in warehouse and inventory management with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in trade compliance and logistics.
• Experience in tracking and reporting government and company property.
• Mastery of inventory tools and their implementation.
• Hazardous materials, OSHA, and Lift Truck Operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and execution of safe, efficient warehouse operations.
• Create and maintain warehouse procedures for all EarthScope facilities and ensure inventory accuracy including barcoding.
• Manage import/export documentation and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Develop SOPs and drive continuous improvement in logistics processes and compliance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and Compliance to monitor and report program requirements.
