Job summary

Virginia Department of Corrections at Dillwyn Correctional Center is seeking a Storekeeper Senior (Hourly/Wage) to support warehouse operations. Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to operate Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to operate a Forklift and/or tractor.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining a productive institutional warehouse operation.
• Ensure goods are received, documented, stored and distributed per policy and safety standards.
• Maintain a perpetual inventory system and assist with physical inventory.
• Ensure safety, security, and sanitation of warehouse operations and train staff/inmate workers.
