Responsibilities

• Performs routine storekeeping duties in a warehouse, canteen, commissary, or storeroom; supervises staff and offenders as needed.
• Receives and unpacks inventory; inspects quality/quantity; labels and stores items; operates cash register and handles money.
• Fills requisitions; prepares items for delivery; maintains inventory records (received/store/issued/ordered/disposed).
• Takes physical inventories; keeps storage areas clean and organized; works under general supervision.
• Position may require contact with offenders.
