Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to join our Florida distribution team. You will load and secure products in trailers, operate either by hand or with powered equipment, and ensure quality control for non-conveyable items before loading.

Responsibilities include communicating with drivers, maintaining a safe and clean workspace, and reporting any product issues to supervision. This role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork within a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
Read/write/understand English well enough to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Load and secure products in trailers safely.
Use hand or powered equipment to complete duties.
Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products prior to loading.
Report concerns about product integrity to a supervisor.
Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
Keep work area clean and debris-free.
Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to products/equipment.
Other duties may be assigned.
