Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to support our distribution operations. You will load and secure products, and may use powered equipment as needed, ensuring safety and quality before loading.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English sufficiently for safe and effective job performance.
• Capable of accurate visual inspections.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Perform duties by hand or with powered equipment as required.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products prior to loading.
• Report product integrity concerns to a supervisor.
• Communicate special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Keep work area clean and debris-free.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
