Job summary

Senior Warehouse Automation & Robotics Engineer

Enjoy designing and delivering automation systems that make manufacturing and material handling smarter, faster and more efficient?

We're working with a major global manufacturing organisation looking for an experienced engineer to help design and deliver automation projects across its manufacturing and warehouse operations.

This isn't a maintenance position. You'll be involved in developing new solutions, selecting technologies and taking projects from initial concept through to installation and commissioning.

What you'll be doing

• Designing automated warehouse and material-handling systems.
• Working with conveyors, robotics, ASRS, AGVs, AMRs and automated storage and retrieval technologies.
• Improving warehouse layouts, material flow, storage and picking processes.
• Working with equipment manufacturers and system integrators to deliver new automation solutions.
• Taking ownership of engineering projects from design through installation and commissioning.
• Helping introduce new technologies and improve existing operations.

What we're looking for

• Experience in warehouse automation, material handling or industrial automation engineering.
• Knowledge of automated conveyors, robotics, ASRS, AGVs or AMRs.
• Understanding of equipment selection, installation and commissioning.
• Ability to work with equipment suppliers and engineering teams.

You don't need experience with every technology listed, but we're particularly interested in engineers who have designed or delivered automated material-handling solutions.
