Job summary

Dell GmbH in Chantilly, VA is seeking a seasoned Sr. Network WAN Engineer for a Federal customer. The role is on-site five days a week and requires TS/SCI clearance. You will design, deploy, and maintain robust network infrastructures to support IT workloads across multisite environments.

You will lead complex BGP/L2-L3 architectures, implement SD-WAN platforms, mentor junior engineers, and document network designs. Travel up to 25% and strong cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Proven experience in designing, configuring, and managing complex BGP and Layer 2/3 Data Center architectures.
Expertise in VLAN, MLAG, LAG configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience with Spine and Leaf architecture design and implementation.
Strong understanding of Trunk/Access ports and configurations for performance.
Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain complex Layer 2/3 data center architectures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into network solutions.
Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members.
