Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Livermore, California, seeks a Senior Production Planner- Wafer to translate demand, capacity, material readiness, and priorities into an integrated fab plan, managing complex wafer flows across multiple modules.

You will lead daily and weekly planning reviews, coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to maintain on-time delivery, and develop ramp and NPI plans while optimizing cycle time and WIP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in production planning and scheduling in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with re-entrant wafer fab and complex planning environments.
• Strong ERP/MIS/APS capabilities and Excel skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional planning decisions and communicate risks clearly.
• Willingness to work onsite and support off-hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own short-, mid-, and long-range wafer fab production plans across modules.
• Translate demand, backlog, forecasts, and priorities into time-phased schedules.
• Balance cycle time, WIP, throughput, yield, capacity, and material readiness.
• Establish freeze windows and dispatch priorities; manage plan changes.
• Lead daily/weekly planning reviews and align shop-floor execution with the master plan.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain on sequencing and recovery actions.
• Maintain a single plan of record across ERP/MES/APS and dashboards.
• Develop ramp plans for NPIs and technology transfers.
• Govern planning data, dashboards, and analyses; improve planning accuracy.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects to reduce queue time and variability.
