Job summary

EY is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to implement and maintain Web Application Firewall solutions, protecting client applications from cyber threats. You will work with cybersecurity professionals to uphold security for web apps.

Configure, monitor, and optimize WAFs (Cloudflare, Imperva), respond to incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with Terraform IaC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in web application security operations.
• Hands-on with Cloudflare and Imperva required.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation preferred.
• Familiar with ITIL processes and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize WAF solutions to protect web applications.
• Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
• Monitor application traffic and security events to identify threats.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and remediation of security incidents.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate incidents.
• Develop and maintain WAF policies and documentation.
