Job summary

Texas Capital Bank seeks a senior information security leader to drive enterprise vulnerability management across on-premises and cloud environments. You will identify weaknesses, work with cross-functional teams to remediate, and deliver regular risk-based reporting to executives.

The role requires deep expertise in CVSS/ATT&CK, strong scripting ability, and extensive regulatory experience in financial services. Strong communication and leadership are essential for risk-based decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an appropriate domain.
• Strong expertise in enterprise Vulnerability Management programs across network, cloud, applications, containers, and infrastructure.
• Experience integrating vulnerability management into enterprise GRC and risk programs.
• Deep understanding of CVSS, EPSS, OWASP Top 10, SANS/CWE Top 25, KEV and threat-prioritization models.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, databases, networks, cloud platforms, virtualization, APIs, containers, and emerging tech.
• Cloud security risk literacy across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and SaaS environments.
• Programming/scripting to automate assessment, reporting, remediation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ruby).
• Understanding technology risk management, control frameworks, and regulatory expectations in banks/fintechs.
• Experience collaborating with regulators, auditors, and internal/external examiners.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, assessment, prioritization, and management of vulnerabilities across on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proactively identify security weaknesses and reduce organizational risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure timely risk reduction.
• Analyze findings and provide reports with actionable recommendations for improving security posture.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats, trends, and testing strategies.
• Assist in developing security documentation and evidence packages.
