Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a senior security engineer to lead Vulnerability Management, owning major areas, designing automation, and guiding remediation across engineering teams.

You will build LLM-based workflows, integrate security tooling, and mentor engineers while participating in on-call vulnerability response and post-mortems. The role emphasizes leadership, software design, and risk-informed decision-making at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a significant technical area within vulnerability management or a related security engineering discipline.
• Strong software development experience in Python, Go, Rust, or a similar language.
• Experience leading software design for systems that process security data and integrate multiple services.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based workflows or agents for production use.
• Strong understanding of Linux, containers, cloud, and Kubernetes.
• Experience assessing how exposure, exploitability, trust relationships, and existing controls affect vulnerability risk.
• Experience leading technical work across engineering teams and improving systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers and establishing engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical direction for major areas of Vulnerability Management.
• Design and deploy security tooling to close visibility gaps and automate remediation.
• Lead complex investigations involving scanner findings and CVEs, guiding fixes across teams.
• Mentor engineers through design/code reviews and hands-on problem solving.
• Participate in vulnerability response on-call rotations and post-mortems.
