Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a lead for Vulnerability Management to set technical direction, drive remediation, and architect automation across our infrastructure. You will oversee complex investigations, assess CVEs, and champion secure design with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a significant technical area within vulnerability management or a related security engineering discipline.
• Strong software development experience in Python, Go, Rust, or a similar language with production services, testing, deployment, monitoring.
• Experience leading software design for systems that process security data and integrate multiple services.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based workflows or agents for production use.
• Understanding Linux, containers, cloud, and Kubernetes with vulnerability investigation experience.
• Ability to assess exposure, exploitability, trust relationships, and controls using CVSS/EPSS for prioritization.
• Experience leading cross-team technical work and resolving implementation disputes.
• Experience mentoring engineers and improving engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for major areas of Vulnerability Management.
• Lead deployment and integration of security tooling.
• Design and build automation that consolidates findings from multiple sources.
• Lead remediation across engineering teams and mentor engineers.
• Participate in vulnerability response on-call rotation and post-mortems.
