Job summary

CoreWeave, via Weights & Biases, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own and evolve core systems in the ML Workflows stack. You’ll impact artifacts, registries, automations, and launch components, collaborating with product, design, and ML teams across Go, Python SDK, and TypeScript frontend.

You will work across the stack, mentor engineers, and drive migrations while delivering scalable, reliable backend systems on CoreWeave infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including leading significant technical initiatives or architectural changes
• Strong proficiency in Go, or in another compiled language with the ability to ramp on Go quickly
• Working proficiency in Python
• Track record of mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar
• Strong communication, including the ability to explain complex technical decisions to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of a core platform area, designing systems that scale to billions of artifacts and high-volume event and job throughput
• Dive deep into system architecture to find optimization opportunities and fix difficult bugs
• Work across the stack from Go backend services and GraphQL APIs to the Python SDK and TypeScript frontend
• Lead migrations and re-architecture of systems carrying live customer traffic
• Identify and refactor technical debt to improve maintainability and developer productivity
• Establish engineering patterns and best practices for a growing platform
• Collaborate with product and design to translate user requirements into technical implementations
• Engage with customers to understand ML workflow challenges and feed back into the product cycle
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team
