Job summary

Apogee Engineering seeks a Cyber Security Specialist II-Vulnerability Analyst to support AFNWC/NCC. The role focuses on prioritizing vulnerabilities by severity, communicating remediation needs, and maintaining documented risk posture. Must coordinate with PST/IST teams and meet IAVM deadlines.

Position is full-time at Offutt AFB, NE with on-site engagement. Requires TS/SCI eligibility and DoD RMF/tool experience; DoD DoDD and NIST controls familiarity is essential.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD domain knowledge and RMF experience are required.
• Experience with DoD 8500, 8520, 8510 RMF processes and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Review findings from security tools and prioritize remediation.
• Provide remediation guidance to PST and IST engineering teams.
• Track findings from identification to closure and report status.
• Deliver security recommendations to boards, clients, and teammates.
• Create and maintain security baselines and documentation.
• Support security operations and issue resolution with IT staff.
