Chenega MIOS is seeking a Vulnerability Management Specialist II to support cyber defense analysis and remediation tracking across enterprise systems. The role involves basic remediation coordination, reporting, tool maintenance, and stakeholder collaboration under senior guidance.

Ideal candidates have DoD vulnerability management knowledge, familiarity with ACAS/Nessus, and a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of vulnerability tracking and reporting or Master’s with 1+ year of experience.
• Certifications: Security +.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Review basic scan outputs and filter false-positives.
• Schedule and execute vulnerability scans using Nessus/Tenable or approved platforms.
• Collect asset compliance data and patch reports for senior review.
• Document scanning status in tickets and support team briefings.
• Generate reports using Excel and related tools.
• Coordinate remediation activities with stakeholders.
