Job summary

Apogee Engineering seeks a Software Engineer to support AFNWC/NCC at Offutt AFB, NE. Join an agile team delivering C2 software for nuclear command and control, with DoD experience and SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities include analysis, design, coding, documentation, SQA, and collaboration with government leads. Requires US citizenship and Top Secret/SCI eligibility; Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

Citizenship: US citizen
Clearance: Top Clearance with SCI/NC2/ESI and ACCM eligibility
Education: HS Diploma; Bachelor's preferred
Experience: 15+ years DoD, NPES testing, government analysis

Responsibilities

Review and analyze documentation, requirements, design, and test artifacts.
Evaluate feasibility by analyzing requirements and proposed solutions.
Document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, comments, and clear code.
Improve operations via systems analysis and policy recommendations.
Provide SME on nuclear command and control planning to USSTRATCOM
Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues
Perform Software Quality Assurance to meet quality specs.
Work in an agile team; elaborate designs, validate data, code and test features; conduct peer reviews.
