Job summary

NS2 Mission is seeking a UI Developer with strong Vue.js experience to craft modern, responsive interfaces for space operations. You will develop data-rich dashboards for SDA indications and warning systems and collaborate with a distributed team across design, engineering, and operations.

The role emphasizes building reusable components, performance optimization, and aligning with design systems while supporting mission-critical space programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in user interface development.
• Proficiency in Vue.js.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Vue.js.
• Build reusable UI components and maintain consistency across applications.
• Translate wireframes, mockups, and design systems into high-quality code.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to refine user workflows and interactions.
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Optimize UI performance and initial load times.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end/UI best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues in production environments.
