SoftServe is seeking a frontend engineer to develop and enhance responsive web applications for a long-term US-based client in the Smart Home industry. You will focus on Vue.js solutions used by sales teams, taking ownership of reliable, accessible, and high-performing user experiences while collaborating with a distributed engineering team.

• Proven experience with Vue.js 2 or 3 and TypeScript for modern frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript for responsive interfaces.
• Experience with unit testing and building accessible, secure frontend solutions.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and state management patterns.
• Exposure to CI/CD and cloud environments such as Azure or similar.
• Ability to collaborate in an Agile team and adapt to changing requirements.
• Upper-intermediate English communication (written and spoken).

In this role, you will develop and enhance responsive web applications for a long-term US-based client in the Smart Home industry. You will focus on Vue.js solutions used by sales teams, taking ownership of reliable, accessible, and high-performing user experiences while collaborating with a distributed engineering team to continuously evolve the platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive frontend applications using Vue.js, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS, supporting consistent experiences across devices
• Own frontend features and enhancements, ensuring maintainable code, application performance, accessibility, security, and scalability
• Collaborate with engineers, QA specialists, and other project stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
• Build reusable UI components and implement state management patterns that support maintainable application development
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, ensuring reliable communication with backend services and smooth user interactions
• Implement unit tests and engineering practices that improve code quality and support reliable application releasesOptimize existing functionality and code to accommodate evolving business processes while maintaining application stability
• Contribute to technical discussions, code quality improvements, and engineering best practices within an Agile development environment

Requirements

• Strong experience with Vue.js 2 or 3 and TypeScript for modern frontend application development, with Vue 3 experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js state management and integration with REST APIs
• Solid knowledge of HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript for developing responsive and maintainable web interfaces
• Practical experience with unit testing and building secure, scalable, accessible, and high-performance frontend solutions
• Familiarity with .NET alongside Vue.js is an advantage, as well as Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material Design
• Proven skills to adapt to changing requirements and collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams
• Demonstrating an upper-intermediate English level (written and spoken) to cover daily communication with the team
• Exposure to CI/CD practices and cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or another cloud platform (as a plus)
