Job summary
Companion Data Services, a BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina subsidiary, seeks a Senior VTAM Systems Programmer Analyst for a full-time onsite role in Columbia, SC. - 8 years IT experience including extensive systems programming.
- VTAM and mainframe z/OS knowledge is required.
- Experience with system software design, integration, and performance tuning.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, isolate, and debug software problems and resolve incidents.
- Review and design system software and hardware builds and assess impact on infrastructure.
- Coordinate installation, testing, and maintenance of systems software.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and evaluate vendor-supplied packages.
- Assist in standards and guidelines for technology solutions and disaster recovery.
