Job summary

Air Conditioning Innovative Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technician II to service, troubleshoot, and repair VRF/VRV systems in commercial buildings in the Dallas area.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical and control systems, refrigerant handling, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. You will perform preventive maintenance, document findings, and liaise with clients and supervisors to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience servicing VRF/VRV systems.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification and a valid driver’s license required.
• Advanced ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and control sequences; BAS/DDC knowledge.
• Manufacturer-specific VRF/VRV training (Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, LG) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical HVAC faults in VRF/VRV systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on VRF/VRV systems, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, system inspections, and performance testing.
• Test and verify control logic, sensors, networks, and BAS/DDC integration.
• Read and interpret detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer docs.
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment history.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and teams.
• Operate safely with professional workmanship and customer service.
