Job summary

CAIRE seeks an engineer to provide technical expertise for VPSA projects, with design, sustaining, and manufacturing support. The role blends office work with production floor activities, including project management, testing, and on-site commissioning.

Responsibilities include interfacing with customers, developing test protocols, and supporting supply chain and sales. Travel up to 25% is expected, with a focus on safe, efficient engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics engineering.
• 3–5 years of engineering design and manufacturing experience in industrial plants/equipment.
• Experience with blowers, compressors, motors, chillers is preferred.
• Review P&IDs, electrical schematics and assembly drawings.
• Understanding of PLCs and HMIs in process control systems.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork ability.
• Solid foundation in mechanical design, statics, fluid dynamics, pressure vessels and thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative solutions to meet engineering and marketing requirements.
• Interface with customers to troubleshoot system issues and defects.
• Develop test protocols for design changes and product improvements.
• Develop plans and schedules for On-site gas generation projects.
• Assist Supply Chain with procurement of equipment and spare parts.
• Support manufacturing, quality, and supply chain product issues.
• Support Sales by reviewing contract documentation and specs.
• Provide equipment specifications and documentation to customers.
• Project management and start-ups, testing, and plant service.
• Observe and practice safety procedures; travel up to 25%.
• Other duties as assigned.
