Job summary

The Granada Theatre (Santa Barbara Center for the Performing Arts) seeks a Vice President of Stage Production & Operations to lead Stage Production, Front of House, Hospitality, and Building Operations, ensuring safe, high-quality performances and efficient venue operations.

The role partners with the COO and CEO on labor, safety, budgeting, and capital planning, driving continuous improvement and excellent partner experiences across resident companies and touring productions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in live performance, theatre production, venue operations, or a closely related environment.
• Experience leading complex productions and events from advance through execution and closeout; union environments and collective bargaining administration.
• Strong financial and operational acumen including budgeting, labor costing, event settlement, vendor management, and capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Build a high-performing, collaborative management team through coaching and leadership development.
• Oversee Stage Production, Front of House, Hospitality, and Building Operations to ensure safe, show-ready venues and excellent patron experiences.
• Partner with COO and CEO on workforce planning, labor relations, safety, risk, and strategic capital priorities.
